Pure Imagination

Pure Imagination is an annual music festival with a mission to bring diversity of sound and culture to a picturesque, inspiring outdoor setting.  With an eco-friendly focus, a curated and diverse line-up, Pure Imagination will create a unique musical experience marrying soundscape and landscape while leaving limited impact on the environment and the gorgeous topography of the region. (including Prescott, AZ, Prescott Valley, AZ and Chino, AZ).

Los Angeles based rock band Dawes, sets a tone all its own. With the crunchy chordal cadence that brings their Laurel Canyon sound into being, Dawes delivers rootsy, guitar-based rock. Dawes began their journey in the San Fernando Valley back in 2009, it was  the year of the Ox, but don’t be fooled, these guys are No Bulls#$t. Having  played with, for, and against some of rock’n roll’s most illustrious icons, the  merry men have picked up more than a few things when it comes to sticking  around and what it means to be a true BAND.

Nikki Lane’s stunning third album Highway Queen sees the young Nashville singer emerge as one of country and rock’s most gifted songwriters. Co-produced by Lane and fellow singer-songwriter, Jonathan Tyler, this emotional tour-de-force was recorded at Matt Pence’s Echo Lab studio in Denton, Texas as well as at Club Roar with Collin Dupuis in Nashville, Tennessee. Blending potent lyrics, unbridled blues guitars and vintage Sixties country-pop swagger, Lane’s new music will resonate as easily with Lana Del Rey and Jenny Lewis fans as those of Neil Young and Tom Petty.

Acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician Katie Pruitt is in the midst of a series of breakout years following her widely acclaimed, 2020 debut album, Expectations. Co-produced by Pruitt and her close friend Mike Robinson, the record finds Pruitt exploring complex emotional ground, covering topics such as mental illness, toxic relationships and the frustraton and difficulties of growing up gay in the Christian South.

Phantom Planet, the Los Angeles band responsible for four albums of energetic and diversified alt rock; and are known for writing anthemic hits like “California,” – the infectious theme of the popular four-season TV series The O.C; the vibrant fan favorite, “Do The Panic” and the gritty, punk-propelled “Big Brat”.

A band known for their wildly exciting shows with deep fan engagement – many found Greenwald literally hanging from the rafters of the venue to entertain the masses on more than one occasion. Having toured with No Doubt, Incubus and many others, Phantom Planet quickly earned the fans’ staunch loyalty through a combination of stellar musicianship and their compelling material.

Ponderosa Grove is a collaboration of award-wining singer/songwriter Candace Devine, Drew Hall, and Joshua Taylor. They play often as an acoustic trio or in various set ups all the way to a 9-piece band with a horn section.

The Talbott Brothers are an alternative—indie-pop duo that combine honest songwriting with down-to-earth messages that prove to be prevalent in today’s world. Originally from Imperial, Nebraska, they now call Portland, Oregon home. The duo comes back to the stage nationally in 2022 with the full band that will spotlight an evolving new sound on stage.

The band has often been noted for their colorful, flamboyant, and party-like vibe that is best on display in their wild and freaky performances. Despite this festive atmosphere surrounding the band, you can find a much darker, sobering, and visceral imagery in their lyrics, as they frequent the deep end of subjects like mental illnesses, addiction, and queer identity.

Stephy Leigh’s unique voice has been compared to the likes of Dolly Parton, Brandie Carlile, Wanda Jackson and Gillian Welch. With their 3-part harmonies, mariachi-style trumpets and a driving rhythm section, Stephy Leigh & the Lullaby League is proud to represent Prescott, Arizona’s ever-growing Americana-folk music scene. The band is currently booking for the spring and summer touring season. Their latest EP, “Happy Birthday You Fool,” is out now.

Located in Prescott. Watson Lake is in the breathtaking high desert of Northern Arizona with moderate and inviting seasons, clean air, stunning lakes, the Granite Dells and out of this world natural landscapes.

Located just 4 miles from Prescott, this beautiful lake is an oasis when you are looking to escape the desert heat. This bright blue lake is surrounded by granite boulders and hiking trails. 

Parking & Shuttles

Parking at the festival is limited and pay-to-park. Shuttles are free and we have arranged transportation to and from various parking locations in the area.
